Sayyed Mohsen Hosseini
I was born in Gonbadekavoos, in the northern part of Iran; however, I lived and grew up in Mashhad in the northeast of Iran. I did my bachelor’s education in Mashhad, and then I moved to Tehran, the capital city of Iran to do my MSc degree in biomedical engineering. Having accomplished my MSc degree and some further biomedical research work in several hospitals of Tehran, leading to being awarded by the President of Iran as the Young Researcher (Invention, Innovation, Novelty and Scientific Hypothesis Award of the 14th Razi Medical Sciences Research Festival), I moved to the Netherlands to do my PhD in Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e). After my PhD, I joined the high-tech industry in the Netherlands as a mechanical engineer. Besides my academic and technical professional career, I have colored my life with Persian literature. I am inspired by Shahnameh (The Book of Kings) of Ferdowsi. Mythology, epics, history, and religion are the subject fields that fill my hobby time.
